Due to COVID-19 Power for All will be offering dry land programming for children and youth this summer with a variety of modifications to ensure clients and volunteers safety. We have prepared a variety of outdoor adventures for every Tuesday and Wednesday from July 21 to August 12. We will be hosting two sessions on each of these days, one morning session from 10-12pm and one afternoon session from 1-3pm.

Some of the COVID-19 precautions include daily healthy screens for staff, volunteers and clients; limiting programming to  small groups of 5; set up of hand sanitizing and/or hand washing stations throughout the programs; wearing of masks by volunteers and staff and many more strategies guided by our local health authorities.

Dry land themes for this year include activities such as Geocaching, Mud Day, Wilderness Survival Skills and much more. We encourage all to register to ensure you get a spot! The program goals are related to the basics of physical literacy, sensory and motor development. Balance, coordination, physical strength and endurance, socialization and integration goals, executive function skills, are just a few of the goals that our clients work towards when engaged in our programs.
